DENVER - Senator Jimbo Quickdance [D-Denver] has already become one of the most popular senators in the Rocky Mountain State.
And now he may be bucking for a shot at possibly entering the 2016 Democratic Presidential Race.
Senator Quickdance has just made a proposal before the Colorado State Senate to make marijuana the state plant.
The senator said that although there is some opposition to his proposal he really and truly feels that it will pass given the current tide towards statewide use of marijuana.
He then pointed out a very good fact in his favor and that is that Colorado does not have an official state plant so it is not like some plant would be getting tossed to the side in favor of the more modernesque marijuana plant.
SIDENOTE: A spokesperson for Senator Quickdance said a survey was taken of 100 pot shop owners in the Denver area and 99 agreed that the marijuana plant should be the official state plant of Colorado. The one who voted against the measure later said that he was so stoned that he really did not understand the question but he is certainly in favor of the proposal.
