DENVER - Colorado State Senator Jimbo Quickdance [D-Denver] spearheaded a state bill to give the state's thousands of marijuana farmers a tax break.
The bill easily passed by a vote of 31-4.
Senator Quickdance stated that the marijuana industry has become a billion dollar gold mine and it behooves every politician in The Rocky Mountain State to get on the pot bandwagon or else he or she will find themselves voted out of office quicker than John Goodman can eat a Cheese Danish.
The bill known as Colorado Marijuana Tax Break Hurrah will help to encourage even more citizens of the state to get into the weed growing business.
One Boulder marijuana farmer, Merlin Dakbuffin, said that it is a great day not only for the growers and farmers of marijuana but for all citizens of the great Rocky Mountain State.
Dakbuffin pointed out that with the savings in taxes he will be able to purchase more seeds, more fertilizer, more insecticide, and more plastic bags.
SIDENOTE: Merlin Dakbuffin's cannabis farm The Mellow Fellow Marijuana Farm, is located just outside of Boulder. He has said that he plans to hire about two dozen more employees in order to keep up with the fantabulous demand.
