A Muslim woman was stopped at Doncaster airport yesterday after she was spotted reading a book of firsthand accounts from the Syrian conflict. Faizah Saheen was pulled aside into a separated area and questioned on why she was interested in the material. With them being Doncaster police they were probably curious about someone actually reading a book in their city.

Reminiscent of Orwells 1984 Ms Saheen was grassed up buy the cabin crew over her choice of book. Which makes Back and to the Left news wonder if it had been a man wearing a Donald Trump "Make America Great Again" hat would they have also being stopped?

A police spokesman made a statement in-between bites of a rather large BLT. A BLT that these reporters had, had their eye on in the local Greggs but then this asshat pushed in line.

"It was brought to our attention several weeks ago that some terrorists may be able to read and others may even be able to write. So we asked all flight attendants on routes that go through "those sorta countries" (he actually made the air quote signs) to report anybody reading. Or writing. Or women doing maths....that's a sign of witchcraft isn't it?"

As we wandered away munching on half a (dry as shit) sausage roll each we wondered if we'd get arrested for our choice of reading material on public transport. After all reading the novelisation of the Red Dwarf TV series might just mark us out to be android anarchists who could also be hologram sympathisers who own a cat. Can't see the home Office allowing the likes of us to roam freely.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
