PARIS, France - (Sports Satire) - The FIFA World Cup Organization, after getting lots of feedback, has decided to hold the world soccer event every two years, instead of every four.
Out of the 211 members, a total of 209 voted to go to the every two years system.
According to Sports Balls Illustrated Daily (France) the only two countries who voted against going from four years to two years were France and Pakistan.
France because their team is not very good, and Pakistan because their national manager Faishillo Zakakahn, 76, is a card-carrying atheist.
Meanwhile, The FIFA powers that be, in the interest of uniformity, are seriously considering dropping the term 'football' and replacing it with the more acceptable term 'soccer.'
