Naomi Osaka, the Japanese tennis starlet who is through to the semi-finals of the Women's US Open after her victory over Shelby Rogers, has revealed that she has achieved the first item on her list of 'Three Wishes' made when she was just a little girl.
Osaka, from Osaka, is only 22, and, next year, will be 23.
After her win, the star told reporters that she'd always wanted to be a top tennis player ever since she'd been a tot in Japan, and could now say that she'd reached that goal, and that that wish had been 'granted'.
She went on to say that, watching tennis on TV as a talented youngster, she'd always hated that Maria Sharapova and her incessant grunting.
When she was asked by a curious reporter what the two other wishes were that were on her list, she looked embarrassed, and blushed.
After some gentle coaxing, however, she said that her second wish had been to, one day, become a geisha girl.
There was a moment of silence, and someone coughed.
She then went on to say that her third, and dearest, wish was that she could master the Japanese paper-folding art of Bukkake, and eventually become a Grand Master.
