(North Korea) The Pyongyang Maternity Hospital's regeneration clinic promises to regrow human organs.
"It began with culturing skin grafts for women who wanted to hide stretch marks from child birth," said the hospital's spokeswoman. "And today we're growing new eyes and ears, fingers and toes, arms and legs, and livers and lungs.
"Stem cell research made this all possible," she explained. "We've taken the first steps toward a new world of regenerative medicine."
Asked about the possibility of growing an additional brain within the body, the spokeswoman replied that the procedure is not unheard of.
Musicians United to Stop Involuntary Circumcision have acknowledged the clinic, but are on the fence when it comes to an official statement.
