Huge fast food chain McDonald's announced today that they are testing the use of conveyor belts in their drive throughs in an effort to speed up their service times, which are notoriously the slowest in the fast food industry.
CEO Ronald McDonald is pleased with the results of the testing so far. McDonald said, "Service times are improving and studies have shown that the conveyor belts are eighty-five percent more friendly than our employees."
McDonald's plan is not without it's critics, however. Burger King, CEO of rival chain Burger King, said, "I hope their conveyor belts work better than their ice cream machines."
