Mitch McConnell, after much research, has revealed that George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin, all their lives, carried concealed loaded flintlock pistols in their pants, and had advanced, specially made, multiply firing muskets in their homes, for home defense.
The tradition of concealed carry guns, and assault weapons goes way back to the Founders of our country, and should not be disputed by those stupid, anti-patriotic people who think fast firing, military style, killing weapons are not part of our heritage.
A citizen militia was badly needed back then, and many landladies would not let the young citizen soldier guys keep a musket in their rooms.
Congress in writing the gun amendment, did a punitive strategic move to get around these powerful landladies, put them in their place, and show them that the Men was still in charge of things.
