If the lord would make the miracle of 'Immaculate Conception' available to lesbian couples they would no longer need to locate an adult novelty store to consummate their marriage. This should make the church quite happy.
Gay couples can consummate quite easily, but would still need to adopt because even the lord can't make the sun shine everywhere. Is human canine next? A lot of folks really do love their dogs.
The human partner male or female would save a great deal of money because dogs can't go shopping go to restaurants or the movies etc.
If the creator knew then what he knows now he probably would have stayed in bed that week.
