Miriam O'Reilly, who won an age discrimination case against the BBC last year, has been given a new role by BBC One.
54 year old O'Reilly, who took the Beeb to an industrial tribunal after losing her job on Countryfile (and won the case) , is taking over from Fiona Bruce as presenter of the new series of Antiques Roadshow.
She will also make guest appearances as herself on "One Foot In The Grave", "Waiting For God" and "Still Game" and in 2012 will be co-host of an updated series of "All Our Yesterdays" alongside Bruce Forsyth and Zsa Zsa Gabor.
