Popular presenter Sian Williams will not be cooperating with the BBC's proposed movement of early shift's breakfast times from 5.00am to 5.30 am, a source from within the organisation revealed today.
"Ms Williams is furious at the suggestion that her long established nutritional regime should be upset simply because one of her bosses has decreed that eating times should be amended ", the source stated.
Williams follows a strict early morning routine involving 20 minutes of callisthenics and 10 minutes of meditation from 4.30 am to 5.00 am before having a strict high fibre meal.
She has stuck to this routine for the last 10 years.
According to a friend of Ms Williams, Sian is extremely upset at the proposals and feels that she is not valued by her employers and the measures reflect a complete lack of respect for her as a professional.
She is considering taking legal action over the matter as she does not feel that she would be able to perform her duties in an effective manner were the schedule changes to go ahead.
