When asked what she was going to do with her first really big check of over six million dollars, Susan Boyle says that she's finally going to have inside plumbing done on her home.
"I know it sounds unsanitary having a toilet inside the house, but I've seen some where they have it right next to the kitchen, yet they seem well and in good health. Mercy me, I would't want a shithouse right there by my food!"
She also has plans for some new outfits and a jewel-studded collar for her cat.
"I used to watch that show on television about the $6 Million Dollar Man and now I'm going to be the $6 Million Dollar Woman!"
"I think that the first thing I'll try, personally, is to go over to old Angus McPee's field and go on a superspeed run. I think I'd like that. Of course, I'll wait till he's out of the house. Don't want to give myself away."
Other things Susan is planning is to purchase herself a "big" car and hire Hattie's eldest, Hamish, to drive her around all the extra land she's planning to purchase near her home so she can have some privacy.
"You cannot tell when thon papparatsies will be swarming around the place."
Asked about her shopping spree, she told some friends that she will be looking for several plaid outfits."
"Probably in Glasgow, where they make them especially by hand, using native plaid thread."
