A character by the name of "Johnny Depp" has appeared on the satire and parody site of note, TheSpoof.com, and will most likely not remain for very long.
Such characters are often short-lived, said Professor Lee Pipe of the University of London, who makes a habit of studying the characteristics of spoof writers.
"On a website like TheSpoof.com, where anyone can pretend to be anyone else, it is not uncommon for writers to take on the name of someone famous to get attention," Professor Pipe explained. "However, these wannabees never write enough stories to make it on the Top 20 spoof writers list (unlike this author of note, who intends to stay)."
The Johnny Depp imposter appeared in a discussion forum recently and harassed an immature writer of much lesser note who most likely deserved the childish ribbing.
"The Johnny Depp of Hollywood fame would never appear on TheSpoof.com, at least not voluntarily," Professor Pipe said. "It is far more likely that the character is in fact another spoof writer wishing to play games of deception with the feeble-minded idiot."
Author's note: I cannot help feeling sorry for other writers who would do this. Perhaps they are frustrated with their low positions on the Top 20 spoof writer list and wish to take it out on 'apparently' successful, but feeble-minded, writers,(of lesser note) who manage to stay on top with their tabloid story drivel, continual writing for points, double entendres, conspiracy theories, stories about this Depp character, stories about Nakedness and drivel about Barry Potter's vagina!!
