One of my favorite 'Old' (really 'Old') singers Barbara Streisand, (born way before Computers), has a new biography just published.
It's big book because she has had a long life-(she's ancient).
Streisand was the incredible singer with the big 'Honker'-super multi-talented-and talks about growing up in Brooklyn NY-sort of the Arm-pit of New York City back then-(but still Nice, in an Arm-pit sort of way).
She started out trying to be an actress, but the Nose got in the way- so she was forced to sing to make a living.
Boy-was that a good decision!
Streisand has ended up selling many millions of Records-(those flat,black things before CD's-(info. for you younger viewers),and Movie Dvd's.
She was one of the first Mega-stars before Madonna.
Multalented, and hugely Success as a Singer, Actor, and Movie Director.
She has won all the Major Media Awards.
Many times she was the first Woman to win them.
She makes Cher or Adele look like a 'Second Hand Rose'-(one of her early hits).
One thing she leaves out of the Bio. is Info. about the many sexy Men she had.
She probably beats Madonna in that Department-but we will never know.
This was an enjoyable book-but missing most of the juicy Sex moments of her Life.
Such a disappointment.
