Watching Donald Trump sitting at the defendant's table, braced by his team of lawyers, with his mouth shut, the camera focused on his glum face. The eyes were their usual reptilian expressionless self, but his mouth, though shut for the first time, appeared tiny.
The hair was its usual Pavlova-Meringue derby (though yellow), but Donald Trump has a tiny baby mouth. Unique how much venom, abuse, and violence can exit from such a small mouth. It's like a cigarette pistol firing a cannon.
And where was Donald Trump's family? His daughter Tiffany is a lawyer. She should have been at the defendant's table. And where was the till death do us, part wife? Junior was also a no-show. Also, doesn't Trump have a sister who used to be a judge?
Of course, since the first wife was buried on a golf course, maybe the third wife decided to skip her husband's arraignment for making hush payments about having had sex with two women shortly after she gave birth to his third son.
What goes around, comes around.
Hopefully, in future court appearances, daughter Tiffany will show up at the defense table, sitting with the other lawyers and supporting her father. Then, all that law school tuition would be put to work. And what a great defense witness faithful wife Melania would make just sitting there and weeping.
Trump, little mouth and reptilian eyes, would certainly get off.
