Miss Lopez admitted that her short shorts line was inspired by Catherine Bach’s original Daisy Duke short shorts line, which first hit the market in 1979.
Tabloid Today's Papaya Bamboo has noted that clothing experts and especially shorts gurus all agree that J.Lo’s line will blow Bach’s line, as well as Jessica Simpson’s line out of the water.
In fact, Tabloid Today, noted that even though J.Lo’s short shorts are much more expensive than any previous short shorts, they are flying off the shelves because of the line’s written guarantee that if the owner gains weight and she can no longer get her ass into the shorts then J.Lo will buy them back at the original purchase price (no questions asked).
SIDENOTE: J.Lo recently gifted a pair of her La Latina Short Shorts to Anderson Cooper, who told her that they are the most comfortable shorts that he has ever worn; and that includes his mom’s own personal shorts line, The Gloria Vanderbilt Denim Short Shorts Collection, which premiered in the summer of 1976.
