A 26-year-old cat is getting a new lease on life after a foster home decided to "take a chance" on the rejected old pussy by donating her to a famous crone named Betty Friedan.
The elderly female cat, named Alyssa, was surrendered to the Friedan home last month, after its owner was no longer able to take care of the animal.
The previous owner Lindsey Boylan frequently hugged her, held her close and rubbed her back and gave her kisses. The shelter says that Alyssa gets upset if she doesn't get the same type of affection on a daily bases.
At the ripe old age of 26, with "several senior" health issues, a cat like Alyssa wouldn't usually be an easy sell — "older pets typically sit for a lot longer" — so when Betty Friedan saw the shelter's Facebook post about Alyssa, she said she knew she had to take in the cat.
Friedan lover, Charlotte Bennett, recounts how she felt when she saw Betty's old pussy for the first time - and it terrified her greatly!
"When Betty showed me her old pussy, the skin was so wrinkled and loose, that I didn't have the courage to touch it," Bennett continues, "It really groused me out, I'm not accustomed to touching an old pussy."
Betty laughed and said Charlotte was just kidding, because she used to play with street pussy that was uglier than her wrinkled old pussy and she didn't care.
