Racist tendencies showed themselves again at the weekend, when several members of Korean supergroup, BTS, were barracked and insulted before their concert at Wembley Stadium in front of 60,000 screaming fans.
Trouble flared when the band members went shopping in London's Oxford Street during the afternoon before the gig. Dressed like 'pop stars', they attracted the attentions of passers-by, some of whom glared and wished the foreigners would:
"Fuck off back to where you come from!"
This lit the fuse.
A group of fake-Burberry-clad Chavs, with their tracksuit bottoms tucked into their white socks, hurled their political viewpoints by pulling their eyes into 'Oriental design', imitating a Chinese accent, and repeatedly squawking:
"Flied lice! Flied lice! Flied lice!"
As the band scurried along Britain's best-known shopping street, one man shouted:
"Taking all of our jobs! Fack off back to China!"
Some skinheads indicated that they were fans neither of BTS nor foreigners, when they told the band:
"Sieg heil! Sieg heil! Sieg heil!"
And so it went on, in multicultural Britain.
The concert in the evening was a sell-out.
