NORWICH - Last night, a panel of distinguished panellists including Janet Street-Wartier, Michael Ignites, Germaine Warfare, and others from Emmerdale, walked out of the Barrymore Theatre in Norwich, during filming of BBC Question Time. Amidst accusations that the BBC is dumbing down Question Time, the panel were asked by a Mr. Madcap Clownface whether they thought robots farted, and if so, what did it sound like.
To roars of orchestrated laughter from the audience, Ms Street-Wartier was the first to protest.
"I am not going to sit here and comment on this wubbish when there are more important issues to talk about, such as who moved my wheelie-bin?"
Show producers immediately stopped work over the accusation, and negotiations are taking place between, on one hand, the Union of Sound Recording Engineers, and on the other, the Union of Tribal Gatherings, and an unknown third party thought to be Michael Grade.
The show was due to be aired tonight, but the BBC, in a statement read by a Mr. Blobby (47), said:
"It's probably going to go ppppprrrrrraaaarppp."
