Washington - Donald Trump and White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders have recently described the economic period established in February of this year under his administration as the "Trump Miracle", and his dwindling number of followers attest loudly to the new economy ushered in by their leader.
This is easily explained by the above chart of the U.S. Stock Market, a similar chart of employment could also be used.
The period from when the economy bottomed in 2009, shortly after Barack Obama took office, until February of 2017 is described by Trump as the "Shambles" or the "Mess", as in, according to Trump, "When we took over the economy was in shambles".
The period from February to December of 2017 is the "Trump Miracle". And it is indeed a miracle, considering that it has been accomplished without the passage of any important legislation by the Republican controlled Congress and Administration. Also economists generally agree that any changes in policy enacted by the government usually take months if not years to effect overall the performance of the national economy.
However, the "Trump Miracle" has even overcome that inconvenient reality.
It truly defies any logic or reason, like all miracles.
"We can all be grateful we have been delivered from the Shambles to the Trump Miracle", said a follower at a recent Trump rally in Alabama.
