Austin, Texas - Alex Jones, controversial conspiracy theorist, alt-right radio host and internet personality, has been nominated by the Trump administration to a federal judgeship for the U.S. Fourth District Court of Appeals.
"I am a longtime follower of Alex Jones, he is a source of great information , he will make an excellent addition to our roster of U.S. federal judges as we continue to make America great again", said Trump.
Questioned by reporters outside his office in Austin, Jones explained that he had recently completed an intensive 3 day course entitled "Principles of Federal Law" in Dallas at the request of Trump's Education Secretary, Betsy De Voss. "I do believe his level of expertise is equivalent to mine at this point", said De Voss in a phone interview.
"I look forward to using my position in the court to investigate issues important to the preservation of our nation, such as the fake moon landing, the government's involvement in the 9-11 and Oklahoma bombings, and recently the fraudulent election defeat of Roy Moore in Alabama", said Jones.
When reminded by reporters that his new job will involve only review of cases appealed in lower courts and that some of the issues he mentioned were in jurisdictions outside the Texas circuit, Jones replied, "We won't be bullied by the Deep State, everything is up for review in my jurisdiction".
