LOUISVILLE, Kentucky - The KFC Corporation has just announced that they have partnered with the Robertson family of Duck Dynasty on a new KFC menu item.
KFC Spokesperson Ty Wylerstaff stated that the huge chicken franchise chain had been looking for a product to compete against McDonald's Chicken McNuggets.
He stated that they considered all types of possibilities from Turkey Trinkets to Goose Doubloons.
But after listening to the controversy stirred up by Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson they hit upon creating a menu item revolving around the all-American duck.
The chefs at KFC have developed what they are calling The KFC Duck McDuckies.
The Duck McDuckies are very similar to the Chicken McNuggets except that they are made from duck instead of from chicken.
They are also a little bit darker in color and they smell like a duck.
SIDENOTE: KFC's new Duck McDuckies should be available in all KFC restaurants by Monday, January 13.
