HOUSTON - NASA which has been dealing with a bit of a financial struggle lately has come up with an idea that will help generate some much needed revenue.
NASA Spokesperson Trent Timmelfarb told the news media that NASA has decided to put corporate sponsor name decals on the Martian land rover Curiosity.
Timmelfarb stressed that it is an excellent idea because literally millions of individuals view the land rover on a daily basis.
When asked if they had already decided on the initial sponsors Timmelfarb said that they had signed a contract with three corporations.
He said that the first three decals to be placed on Curiosity will include STP, Valvoline, and McDonald's.
Timmelfarb was asked how much each company had paid for the rights to have their corporate name on the land rover.
He raised his eyebrows and replied that all he was allowed to say was that each amount is in the seven digits.
SIDENOTE: The board of directors at McDonald's is very pleased with the new sponsorship and they have stated that they will soon be placing little toy models of the land rover Curiosity in each Happy Meal box.
