OAK BROOK, Illinois - The world's largest restaurant franchise chain, McDonald's has just made a monumental announcement regarding its hamburger buns.
Golden Arches Spokesperson Nancy Zabeletta has issued a statement that the fast food giant will soon be eliminating the sesame seeds from its Big Macs and also from all of its other hamburger buns.
She remarked that after months of research studies it was determined that by eliminating the sesame seeds the world wide fast food leader will be able to save $13.9 million per year.
Reports are that a representative for the Vermont company that provides the sesame seeds to McDonalds upon hearing of the no-sesame seeds announcement replied, "Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!"
Mrs. Zabeletta also pointed out that the amount of complaints from customers reporting sesame seeds getting caught in their teeth and dentures had reached an all-time high, especially in Florida, where there are a lot of elderly people from New York city.
