I see the Guardian has brought up my visit to Havana last year, and the fact that my friend Lord Ashcroft, bless him accompanied me to top-level meetings there.

Then they had to mention my sweet former special adviser Christopher Myers who travelled with me on a trip to Afghanistan and Bahrain.

Then the flaming Telegraph reminded everyone that: "My sleeping in the same hotel room as the wonderfully caring and tender 25-year-old aide Christopher Myers, would inevitably rekindle rumours about my sexuality, that have pursued me throughout my impressive political career."

Why do they print such stuff? Good job I have Lucien to offer me a bit of comfort tonight, when he knows I'll be feeling low!
