I must help Ffion (when we find where she's got to) to make up the list of important people we have to send Christmas cards to.

Obviously I know the most important ones, like, David (Cameron), Barclay's Bank Executives, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Lakshimi Mittal & family, Roman Abramovich, the Duke of Westminster, Her Majesty and family, and my twelve offshore account managers, and I suppose Cleggy and his mob as temporarily.

I wonder if we can further increase VAT on Christmas trees? Tell the impecunious riff-raff that it is an effort to save the forests?

Um, must have a chin-wag with the Chancellor chappie about that one later.
