Dear Diary,

I see the news from Al-Jazeera is they have a few American troops they are talking to on the streets of Baghdad and this one poor soul said he didn't understand what he was doing here.

I thought to myself, why you silly young man, you're here ....and then I suddenly thought, "Come to think of it, why ARE we here?"

We yell slogans and curse the enemy and fire guns into the air. And I have forgotten why.

Yes, I know we must hide but the whole thing is rather silly, really.

I mean, here I am a multi-millionaire with a huge family...living in a cave by myself, wiping my ass on rocks!

I tell you what "The Cause" is..."The Cause" is that we are all stupid, that is the cause. OUCH! Sharp rock.
