Dear Diary,

W. Here.

We need more jobs in this country for the people. My New Year's resolution was that we would all resolve our problems and not let them lead our country into a full scale resolution.

Speaking of New Year's, I forgot during all the moving out of the White House to send Tipper Gore the "I'm With Stupid" tee shirt I always send her.

Then I forgot and in the rush-rush this time I put my return name and address on it.

I hadn't realized my mistake until I saw Laura wearing one and asked her about it.

She said Tipper Gore had sent it and the other seven back to me because I had put my return name and address on it.

She said Mama had told her to wear them for awhile to teach me a lesson.

I had GOT to get me another Al Gore doll. It's such a release. May have one done up of Mama too.

I can just hear them: "George don't you leave those faucets dripping all night."

"Yes I am, Mother, so there!"

"OOohhh Nooo!"

I may be cracking up here.
