THe boss of HSBC was paid £7 million last year on profits of £13.2 billion. That sounds like chicken fee to me. I'd suggest he asks them for a rise. You'd struggle to maintain and a six bedroom house in Islington plus a place in the countryside, and a place in the SOuth of France. And not to mention the flat in Mayfair for the mistress!

I prefer Barclays Bank myself as they sponsor my Boris Bikes in London - tally ho good sports that they are. Somebody called me a 'banker' yesterday as I cycled through the city - at least I think they said banker...
