A man in the Thai capital of Bangkok has related how he found something he hadn't expected in his morning pot of strawberry yoghurt.
Moys Kenwood, 48, originally from Hull in East Yorkshire, bought the 'healthy-bacterial' treat from the Tang Hua Seng supermarket in the city on Friday, but waited the whole weekend - building up his excitement and anticipation to crsecendo levels - before peeling back the foil seal on Monday morning at about 07:30 hours. Kenwood takes up the story:
"I carefully peeled back the foil lid, licking my lips as I did so, only to be confronted by a dirty great big, brown cockroach, which, I suspected, was not part of the product."
Kenwood immediately removed the dead cockroach from the yoghurt, before shovelling the rest of it into his gullet, and leaving for work.
Only when he was already on the bus did he wonder if the cockroach had laid any eggs before it had died.
