A plane chartered by the Canadian government to fly stranded citizens out of Libya has left Tripoli airport completely empty, Canadian sources have reported.
Although this may appear a bit bizarre, a number of other countries have had similar experiences.
Government spokesman for Chad, the Solomon Islands, Fiji, Costa Rica, Greenland and Burma have all confirmed that none of their citizens have been airlifted from the troubled country.
Its expected that there will be considerably more nations in the same boat.
A Canadian spokesman was also able to reveal that in the last 10 years his government had not had to rescue any of its citizens from troublespots .
