There were reports of unrest in Southeast Asia this morning after a woman is alleged to have faked an orgasm.
The incident took place in the Thai capital of Bangkok during the early evening of Saturday, after a man and his girlfriend had sex in an apartment in the city.
Details are sketchy at this time, but it seems that the man laboured for some time to stimulate the woman, in vain. Several 'positional changes' proved unsuccessful, and the woman was seen to check her watch on at least three occasions.
Much grunting could be heard by neighbours in a neighbouring room, but nothing that could be described as 'conclusive'.
Finally, as darkness closed in, the female member of the group let out an almighty scream, which may have been due to a broken bed spring, but this has yet to be confirmed.
The male protagonist then questioned his partner about the supposed 'orgasm', whereupon she tried to stifle a giggle, concealing it behind her hand.
An argument ensued, and the couple retired to separate parts of the city, from where high-level talks are now ongoing.
Police are not investigating.
