Egypt--Local Christian and avid reader, Harry Winkle, lost his house to fire in what officials are calling a case of mistaken identity.
"I was walking down the street towards my home, and what do I see. A Muslim man standing in front of my house with a can of gasoline. No, this man didn't run when he saw me. He just called me a Zionist." Mr. Winkle told reporters.
"I told the man that I wasn't a Zionist, and that I was a Christian." Mr. Winkle added. "He asked me if I was sure, and I told him yes. He apologized, because he said he really thought I looked like a Zionist."
Mr. Winkle who has blonde hair and a deep German accent said that it isn't the first time he was accused of being a Zionist, but was thinking about shaving his beard in hopes of changing his appearance.
Officials are on record saying this isn't the first time a house in Egypt was burnt down due to mistake identity. Mr. Winkle's neighbor lost his house to fire just a couple hours earlier.
The officials also said it was unfortunate that the crummy Christians had their houses burn down, but that will teach them for following the wrong man.
