Bratislava, Slovakia - New laws have been passed here outlawing burping or breaking wind in public places.
It seems that Slovaks have had enough of foreign tourists taking their humble country for grant it and want to impose some harsh behavioural boundaries on these exotic travellers.
Nadia, a waitress from a Bratislava hotel, says she has been subject to plenty of obnoxious behaviour, particularly German backpackers who had been drinking lager all day.
"One of these assholes burped deliberately into my face.
I had no alternative but to backhand his face as hard as possible" she said.
Under the new restrictions, any violation can be punished with either a very heavy fine or a jail sentence.
Local Police will enforce the new law and will be watching EVERYBODY to ensure compliance.
