CAIRO -- An Egyptian man has cut off his own penis and presented it at his local delicatessen in order that they might pickle it for a take-away snack.
Police say the man entered the local Subway restaurant and was told that they were out of cold cuts as a result of a supply chain problem since a Fedex MD-11 crashed at Tokyo's Narita airport in March.
He left the restaurant and subsequently found Mitzy's Deli and Bakery, whereupon he performed the act of removing his member and presenting it to the assistant manager.
The manager accepted the member but informed the man that the pickling would take a couple of weeks and to come back at that time. The man, feeling a bit famished decided to have it deep fried in the form of a corn dog. Staff accomplished this task in under eight minutes.
The manager was not sure if the man indeed consumed the corn dog as the dismembered man had left in a hurry as he was late to get back to work. There was a faint chance doctors would be able to reattach the penis provided it had not been consumed.
