TheSpoof.com- Spoofists all around the world have dropped their king sized packs of cheetos and stopped all the clocks in their homes to mourn the tragic death of TheSpoof.com's logo and mascot - Globey.

Globey the globe-like mascot spent his better days standing in his whimsical pose at the top left corner of TheSpoof.com website. His hobbies were looking drunk and smiling.

In a morbid twist of fate, Globey was almost killed when he dodged a locomotive train travelling at over 120mph by only a few inches early this morning. While rejoicing his near brush with death by the side of the railtrack, the mascot was struck by a single bolt of lightning, which killed him instantly.

Mark Lowton has agreed to speak on the tragedy: "As we all know, spoof writing is a hard and dangerous job. We all miss Globey, and hope he doesn't burn in hell. His funeral will be held on the 13th of April. If anyone wishes to attend, they may, but will have to bring some milk and cookies for the homeless writers. Thank you."
