From the world of unusual pet stories comes this article from the Vox Populi News Agency's Tapioca Swizzle.
There is a retired bullfight cerveza vendor, named Juan Jose Maracas, 68, who lives in Tijuana, Mexico.
Jay-Jay, as his urologist calls him, has a rescue roadrunner named 'Panchito," named after the notorious bandit Pancho "El Hombre" Villa.
Senor Maracas told Miss Swizzle, that his bird loves drinking Dos Equis Beer.
Maracas has had his pet pajaro (bird) for seven years and in that time he has not seen any spiders, scorpions, ants, rats, skunks, or possums in his house or anywhere in his yard.
Miss Swizzle noted that Mr. Maracas is very proud of his beer-drinking roadrunner, who last week bit the ever-living daylights out of an adult pit bull who had wandered into his jalapeno-pepper garden. ■
