Hákarl News: The world has thanked Justin Welby for his generosity and goodwill today after he accepted to raise two orphaned twin donkeys from a Ukraine zoo.
They have now been welcomed into Welby's home after arriving through the Ukraine visa schemes - Apples and Carrots galore!
"I couldn't leave these two beautiful animals in a state of need," says Welby.
After communicating with a Ukrainian zoo that was working closely with Lord Welby, the donkeys were flown first class on American Airlines - It was nothing more than a miracle!
Since early spring, Welby has streamlined the visa application system to get more animals to safety and into the waiting hands of caring pet lovers. The list of animals traveling includes chickens, frogs, hamsters, crickets, flies, and one earthworm named Gary.
Welby ensured the British public that pets from Ukraine are fully supported as they adjust to life in the UK.
