Meeting a new partner can be a delicate matter, and one that shouldn't be taken lightly. Imagine the feelings, then, of one man, who was confronted with an online advertizement that, he says, put him under pressure to get an Arabic girlfriend.

Moys Kenwood, 56, was checking out the pages of satirical news website, TheSpoof.com, when he was suddenly distracted by the advert, showing an Arabic woman, and asking him if he was

"Seeking Arab singles?"

At first, he took this to be an amiable enquiry as to whether he was looking for any obscure vinyl 45s released by Arabic artists, but further investigation showed that this was not the case.

Romance was what was being promoted, and he was entreated to live his romantic dream, and to "take dating to new places". A system was proposed that 'ensured' a lifetime of happiness.

Said Kenwood:

"I've got enough on me bloody plate without bringing an Arabic girlfriend into the equation!"

For anyone that is seeking an Arab single, Piccadilly Records in Manchester is as good a place as anywhere.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
