A pregnant rabbit that was the subject of a story on TheSpoof.com just a few weeks ago, has finally given birth to three baby rabbits, sparking wild celebrations in the Battambang commune of Tapon.
The rabbit, named 'Thong' (pregnant), looked decidedly haggard yesterday afternoon after being chased around the back garden of the property when it temporarily escaped its enclosure, but, once recaptured, it resumed its relaxed lifestyle and chewed on a carrot.
Later, Thong could be seen struggling in a corner with something to her rear, and a baby rabbit emerged all gooey and sticky, and not very pleasant-looking at all. Two more followed in quick succession.
'Mum' then went to another corner of the enclosure, and nibbled on some green leafy things.
It's not known, as yet, whether the baby rabbits are males, females, both or neither, and, therefore, names have not been given, but suggestions are welcomed, and should be submitted to TheSpoof.com by any means possible.
Thong's name is pronounced 'Tong', because the 'h' is silent.
