Breaking: Yesterday, self-proclaimed president of Venezuela Juan Guaido indicated he just might allow the possibility of US intervention to rescue his country.
He stressed the importance of saving lives as motivation for this military intervention and possible civil war.
Mr. Guaido has been groomed and backed by the US in this effort to remove the official president of Venezuela.
President Nicolas Maduro was elected last year with more than 60% of the turnout.
Mr. Guaido was not running in that election, and until a few days ago was unknown to 81% of Venezuela's public.
So far, Venezuelan military and police forces continue to stand by this official president against the US-backed pretender.
A trickle of defectors from these forces has occurred.
Delivery of food and medical supplies to the Columbia border has been refused by the Maduro forces as a “ruse” attempt to entice the coup forward.
That is, the aid is thought to have “strings attached” in terms of “a deal” being offered to the military.
But, according to Mr. Guaido and the US State Department, if Venezuela's military will just put Mr. Maduro on the back of a rocket and aim it toward Cuba, all will be forgiven.
A new leadership will begin, with Mr. Guaido and his American Advisors at the helm.
Profits will then be shared with those in key positions at the head of various government and military agencies, as well as benevolent corporate interests from abroad.
These sparkling ideas will soon take another giant step forward.
American advisors to Mr. Guaido are seeking a citizens committee to grant him an award plus ceremonial occasion for his bravery.
The award will reflect the relief of Venezuela’s citizens, especially the poor, for having their country rescued from the monster they just elected last May.
As with Iraq in 2003, Libya in 2011, Ukraine in 2014, and Syria recently, immense gratitude will prevail over this newest foreign domination scheming.
Lingering appreciation for Hugo Chavez, who helped raise the poor from desperation some years ago, will be eliminated.
Citizens will rush forward to proclaim: “Thank you, America! Thank you, Mr. Guaido!”
The reward ceremony devoted to Mr. Guaido will be accompanied by festivals featuring balloons, feasting, and songs, such as “Happy Days Are Here Again.”
A search for supporters and testimonials from other countries experiencing the benefits of American Regime Change is now underway.
