A hot-air balloon enthusiast who has, for years, harbored aspirations of making a round-the-world navigation, has set off on the journey in a specially-designed enormous condom in the colors of the LGBT movement.
The pilot's name is Gaston Faggé, he/she is French, and Genderfluid.
Gaston is making the trip in order to promote LGBT awareness, which, it's been claimed, hasn't yet been completely rammed down people's throats.
"This should do it," said Faggé.
The balloon set off today from London's Hyde Park, and there are several planned stops along the way, including Paris and Hamburg, where there are significant contingents of LGBT supporters, and Sydney, Australia, which is LGBT Central. Gaston hopes to make it to Rio de Janeiro in time for Carnival, which can be unbelievably 'gay' these days.
Gaston will be dropping leaflets as the condom flies over the world's major cities, so, if you see the great big, queer Rubber Johnny flying overhead, and you own a high-powered rifle, don't waste a golden opportunity.
