Today the Trump administration complained that Canadian and Mexican trade talk officials have been talking around U.S. officials and even joking about them using some kind of secret language.
"No es cierto," replied one negotiator from Mexico, "It is not true, but students in Mexico and Canada are largely bi-lingual, sometimes tri-lingual," he smiled.
"Ce n'est pas vrai!" exclaimed the Canadian negotiator, "It is not true, we simply have a rapport. He makes fun of my Spanish, I make fun of his French, the American, we just make fun of him because he scratches his head when we talk in each other's languages It's just French and Spanish amigos, it is not a secret language."
