Distraught Greek bank personnel and managers were spotted carrying begging bowls along the streets of Athens and other major cities in the country!
After refusing to accept the EU's reforms and repayment conditions Greek multi-millionaires and normal people have been withdrawing their savings with impunity leaving Greek banks below the poverty line.
Bank personnel could be seen standing alongside cash withdrawal points hoping for donations to their cause, they were mainly ignored and many suffered physical attacks from punters filling Lidl bags with their savings.
The police and security authorities stood and watched refusing to butt in because they have not received a single drachma for months; it's called austerity!
Those lucky enough to grab their final savings in Euro's jumped in their cars and headed north towards the German border hoping to reinvest their money in those who are sucking their own banks dry; German Banks!
