The Ontario superior court has overturned a motion regarding the banning of brothels within the region following a counter motion submitted by three Canadian street girls.
One of the women who bought the counter motion, Terri Bedwell had told the court that there was a need for acceptable well run brothels not only to satisfy the needs of the clients, but also to provide a safe working environment for those involved in the industry.
Judge Susie Lemon agreed, and in overturning the ban said "Canada is a cold snowy country, and with the coming of winter I feel that it is necessary for Canadian citizens to have open access to establishments that sell broth. I for one could not bare the thought of passing a long cold winter without something hot inside me".
In a separate unconnected statement Air Russia said that it was thinking of opening a new direct flight to Ontario.
