Burn, baby, burn!

Susan Boyle red scarf wearing fanatical loonies today staged a 'Burn a Lou Reed CD Day'. Fanatics from all over the US congregated in Florida for the event.

"Well, I've never actually heard of this Lou Reed character until today, but I read that he's the devil and deliberately humiliated Susan," rambled some old dear in a red scarf. "It was in the tabloids, so it must be true!" continued the old dear.

"Our fanatics haven't let us down. We've burned over 200 of Lou Reed's CDs today!" said the organising loony.

The event was organised after Lou Reed allegedly refused SuBo permission to perform one of his songs.

"We are un-praying for him," said some people un-praying. "We have dispatched our un-blessing vehicle to his house!" they continued.

Later in the day, a 20ft. high effigy of Reed was burned at the stake while fanatics chanted the words to 'I Dreamed A Dream'.

"I was going to knit Mr. Reed a nice red scarf and offer my blessings," said another old dear. "Oh crap, that was a close call then!" said a shocked Reed.

The fanatics are now expected to make their way to Reed's house and make the usual nuisance of themselves.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
