Poor Susan Boyle. She can't catch a break these days. In fact, ever since she's become a superstar, she's been the butt of plenty of jokes and the target of satirists on both sides of the pond.
The latest news out of Los Angeles is that Boyle was all set to perform Lou Reed's song "Perfect Day" on "America's Got Talent" live for the results of the semi-final show when she was told that Lou Reed just wasn't feeling the love. Susan Boyle's perfect day kinda went belly up from that point forward. She's reported to have burst into her trademark tears, abruptly left the set and boarded a plane back to the UK.
Boyle was heard saying "ever since I won Britain's Got Talent last year, I've been treated like royalty. I've gotten used to everyone telling me 'yes, Susan, of course, Susan, anything you want, Susan, you look beautiful as always, Susan,' and then this curmudgeon of a man Reed comes along and says no, I can't sing his flippin' song. Who the hell is Lou Reed anyways?"
Exactly, Susan. Maybe you just answered your own question.
