Now that Barack of Arabia has declared that Islam is officially a religion that should be respected as such by Americans; not a dedicated terrorist organization operating under the guise of religion, perhaps we should resist the urge to ask him for his birth certificate, and instead, ask him for his baptismal certificate.
Proving one is a Christian has most always led to disaster. Going back to early Roman times, admitting, or even being accused of being Christian, usually resulted in early martyrdom. The Catholic Church lists hundreds, if not thousands, of its early disciples as saints in heaven because they chose to admit being Christians rather than deny their faith.
The penalty for Barack of Arabia pulling out his baptismal certificate and displaying it to the public will be considerably less onerous. Giving his penchant for secrecy, it is doubtful, however, if he will ever reveal anything that might prove his past history.
Bring on the burqas! I have yet to eat one, but I am willing to give it a shot.
