Washington DC - After months of speculation, White House press-secretary Robert Gibbs revealed today that President Obama is actually a Republican. Democrats across the country were shocked and amazed.
The revelation came after several incidents where the President clearly demonstrated that he was intentionally assisting the GOP's efforts to take-back Congress in the 2010 midterm elections:
In February of 2009 President Obama ordered that Guantanamo Bay detention center be closed. He quickly reversed his decision, resulting in a dazed and bewildered Democrat base.
Shortly thereafter, Mr. Obama's decision to try Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in a federal court sent thrills up the legs of liberals everywhere, but his subsequent reversal delighted nearly all Americans of every political persuasion.
Next, Mr. Obama decided to file suit against Arizona's new anti-illegal-immigration legislation. Again, liberals on the far-left tingled with desire, while the vast majority of Americans cringed.
The most recent incident, President Obama's decision to recommend that a Muslim Mosque be built in New York City caused many on the left to quiver with glee. Meanwhile, nearly all Americans were disgusted.
After recommending that the Muslim Mosque be constructed, many became suspicious of his motives. The Spoof!'s crack news team uncovered documents that confirm Barack Obama is a Republican plant, elected into office by unwitting Democrats in 2008.
DNC Chairman Tim Kaine immediately called for President Barack Obama's resignation and blamed Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and Michelle Malkin for executing the dastardly plan. Limbaugh, Coulter and Malkin later verified they they were, indeed, behind the spoof.
