In a press conference this morning, Homeland Security Czar, Janet Napolitano said that the virtual wall and fence put in place by the Bush Administration is a complete and utter failure and has not stopped drugs and illegals from entering the USA.
Today she ordered the construction of a moat from San Diego to Brownsville, Texas be started immediately. She said that instead of using National Guard troops to help the Border Patrol, that President Obama will federalize or deputize 10,000 Florida alligators and immediately deploy these critters to the moat to scare off or eat the illegals attempting to cross the border.
By establishing a network of these hungry gators as the last threshold of defense against the encroaching hoards of illegals, she said that this would not only stop illegals from crossing, it would make Florida safer for those who hide behind their doors, afraid of lurking reptiles. By putting more "teeth" in our border defense team, she said that "we could control the flow of immigrants or eliminate them entirely."
